New Delhi, 15 November 2011 

WBCSD launched the information on Low Carbon Technology Roadmap for the Indian Cement Industry today at the 12th NCB International Seminar on Cement and Building Materials. Technology papers will be available for stakeholder review by December 2011 and stakeholder dialogue on policy and financing will be engaged in January 2012.

Nine CSI members in India are working in partnership with the International Energy Agency (IEA) to develop the ‘Low Carbon Technology Roadmap for the Indian Cement Industry’. Joined by the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) debut a showcase of the project at the 12th National Council for Cement and Building Materials (NCB) International Seminar on Cement and Building Materials held in New Delhi, India from 15 to 18 November 2011.
